Then into Procreate, building it up step by step:
- Blocking in the main silhouette of the dragon
- Defining the pose to feel calm but intentional
- Adding base colours, keeping it simple and clean
- Building up layers for shading and form
- Introducing the glow effects to create that magical energy
- Refining small details like the staff, claws, and facial expression
The glow work was key here.
It adds that sense of life.
Of something just beneath the surface.
